"The Innocence of Muslims"

As most of the world knows by now, that was the name of an amateurish, inane "film"posted on YouTube several weeks ago, which, instantly and predictably, sparked worldwide outrage from Mohammedans, even eclipsing their hysterical reaction to a series of Dutch newspaper cartoons published in 2005.  So horrendous was this insipid little video that the President of the United States (as of this writing), taking his cues from the worldwide media as usual, blamed it for this month's rash of attacks on American embassies and consulates in his address to the United Nations this week. The attacks, which included the murders of four American diplomatic personnel, were not, of course, a reaction to the video, but were well-planned, highly orchestrated acts of war, using specific strategies and high-powered weapons that even Muslims don't usually carry around on a routine basis.

.

The attacks, which have received no official reprimand (and certainly no retaliation) from the current President, beyond a few "tut-tuts" on the David Letterman show or "The View," were widely claimed to be the Muslims' reaction (as in 2005) to an unflattering portrayal - - - any pictorial representation, really - - - of their "prophet."  (It is to the great credit of YouTube that, despite threats and demands, the video, worthless as it is, has not been removed. I do not recommend that anyone actually view the video; but I salute the decision-makers at YouTube for their courage.)  It was precisely what we have come to expect from the followers of "the religion of peace:" hatred, mayhem, violence, and death.  Such are the fruits of the "religion" that was so crudely satirized in the aforementioned video.  Other than deceit, violence against women and pedophilia, those are its only fruits.

Really, now.  This week, a certain "artist's" most famous work, charmingly entitled "Piss Christ," is being displayed once again at an esteemed "art gallery" in Manhattan.  (The work is a photograph of a crucifix floating in the "artist's" urine.)  This is not a new creation; it was made during the 1980s, and yes, Christians have protested.  (Not very many, but some.) But, in the quarter century of its existence, how many people have died as a result of this ridiculous, ham-handed attempt at blasphemy?  How many Christians have taken to the streets with guns and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, such as were used in the "spontaneous" embassy attacks this month?  The answer, of course, is ..... none.  Nor do Jews retaliate in such a manner when their most sacred symbols and texts are mocked and hated.  What is it about Mohammedans that makes them incapable of tolerating even such a laughable depiction of their "prophet" as this?

The above is the only image from the stupid, notorious video that I'll include in this post; I'm just giving an example of what the silly thing looked like.  And, even though the video itself is ... well, the French have a word for it ... it's always healthy to ridicule savagery and sub-human "believers" who incessantly bleat that "There is no compulsion in religion."  The video itself did not offend me because of its subject; it offended me because it lacked all value, even wit.  The following image is as sophisticated as a Shakespearean comedy compared to the video.

But the point of this post is not to criticize a film, or a video, or whatever "The Innocence of Muslims" claims to be; nor is it to point out, once again, the fecklessness and cowardice and appeasement of the current occupant of the White House.  It is to say, as has been said before and will certainly be said again, that Islam is the filthiest, most barbaric "religion" seen on this earth since pre-Christian times, and to mention, once again, that it is the greatest enemy in the present world of decency, liberty, reason, and true devotion to God.

  1. Just the title is a tad ironic...

I've never seen a group so lacking a sense of humour as the Muslims. Anyway, I echo a lot of the opinion in your post.

Beyond that, don't get me going...

  2. I don't understand how people can get so violent over someone else's opinion.

I see and hear horrible things against Jesus Christ, daily, but aside from thinking less of someone who feels it necessary to malign Him, I don't do anything physical: I don't throw stones or call for violence against those who have blasphemed God, although I might express my displeasure over silly and petty attacks on the Lord. I leave it up to God Himself to handle those who hate Him.
